Optimetrix Lab is a workforce-analytics platform. A lightweight agent on each work device records activity metadata — which application is in focus, the window title, the project or category it maps to, and active versus idle time — and rolls it up into utilization, focus-time and workload analytics by person, team and department.
What it records
- Active application and window title
- Project / category the activity maps to (you configure the mapping)
- Active vs idle time, and session start/stop
- Time distribution across apps, sites and categories
What it never records
- Screenshots or screen video
- Keystrokes or clipboard contents
- The content of emails, chats or documents
- Webcam, microphone or location
What it does not do
Optimetrix Lab does not assign a productivity score to individuals. There is no "productive / unproductive" verdict anywhere in the system. It reports neutral operational metrics; how you read them is up to you.
Good to know: all durations in the product are stored in seconds and converted for display. Dates are YYYY-MM-DD in your organisation's timezone.
