Install the agent on Windows

The Windows agent runs as a background service and starts with the machine.

Single machine

  1. Download the installer we provided for your workspace (an .msi).
  2. Run it with administrator rights and accept the defaults.
  3. The service Optimetrix Agent starts automatically. No reboot is required.

Verify

  • The machine appears in Clients / device status in the dashboard within a few minutes.
  • Activity data for the user appears after the first active session ends.

Antivirus / EDR: allow-list the installer and the Optimetrix Agent service if your endpoint protection quarantines new services by default.
