Install the agent on macOS

The macOS agent is a signed package that installs a login-item helper.

Open the .pkg we provided and follow the prompts.
On first launch, macOS asks for Accessibility and Screen Recording permission. Optimetrix uses these APIs only to read the active application and window title — it does not capture the screen. Grant both so window titles are available.
Approve the background item if prompted (System Settings › General › Login Items).

The device shows up in device status within a few minutes; user activity appears after the first session.

MDM: the permission prompts can be pre-approved with a PPPC / TCC profile pushed from Jamf, Kandji or Intune — ask us for the payload.
